Transportation Task Force

The purpose of the Task Force is to develop strategies and recommendations to improve access to campus. The work of the Task Force is undertaken with the following assumptions in mind:

Meeting the transportation needs of our campus is a long term challenge;
Fulfilling our transportation goals will likely involve multiple strategies which may include but are not limited to:

More parking spaces
Shuttle system between campuses
Car pooling
Bicycling
Walking
and other solutions not yet identified.

The Task Force is meant to be inclusive. Its meetings are open and all interested persons are welcome to attend the meetings. The following are the current Task Force members:

Work Groups

Work groups were formed at the first meeting of the Task Force to begin exploring potential solutions. Each task group is to research what other universities, cities, etc. are doing in regards to their potential solution. Work groups are to make a progress report at each meeting.
