WHY FRANCE?
From its food to its art, France is one of those rare
destinations whose reality completely lives up to its
reputation. As a study abroad location, there is
arguably no better place in the world, because the
combination of educational institutions, arts and
culture, and national history are second to none.
Paris is a marvelous place for immersion in the French
language and culture in the city that epitomizes the
French spirit. Although mobbed by tourists, Paris's
museums, including the Louvre, are some of the best in
the world. They add an invaluable contribution to
studies of the arts as well as history and culture.
These stunning collections contain some of the most
famous and influential artwork in history, which is
always something worth appreciating and studying.
While
Paris may be over-romanticized by the film industry and
popular culture, it remains an outstanding place to
study and live. It will enrich your life, broaden your
horizons and fill you with a new appreciation for
history and culture. The Parisian experience will teach
students life-long skills in exquisite surroundings with
the type of cultured flair that only France could
provide.
