The Learning Enrichment, a Student Success department, consists of a highly qualified and motivated team that includes a director, an assistant director, a coordinator of special projects, five learning instructional specialists, tutors, and support staff, who are committed to maintaining a learner-centered and friendly learning environment for currently enrolled students.
Learning instructional specialists supervise and develop lab programs and services. They are constantly researching and implementing innovative approaches for fostering independent learning by developing students’ critical-thinking skills and learning styles. Learning instructional specialists periodically survey students, faculty and staff to determine the needs of the campus community and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services.
