15th Annual International Counselors’ Institute Announced

The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, in partnership with the Tip-of Texas Counseling Association and the Rio Grande Valley Counseling Association, will host  “Mis Quince Anos,” marking the 15th Annual Counselors’ Institute January 22-24, 2009 at the Radisson Resort in South Padre Island, Texas.

 

The theme for the anniversary Institute is “Qualified, Understanding and Inspiring Nurturers Caring for and Empowering others to succeed.”   A variety of breakout sessions providing professional development opportunities for mental health counselors, school counselors, counselor educators, and other social service personnel will be available.

 

More than 300 professionals are expected to attend the Institute.  The Call for Proposals will be extended next month through the Counselors’ Institute website at http://blue.utb.edu/studentsuccess/counselorsinstitute/.
