No, once you have been accepted into the Carl Perkins Program child care is provided until you graduate the program.
However, if you are required to attend classes on weekends or after normal hours, please bring a letter from your professor or instructor or a copy of your statement of charges indicating the requirement to attend classes during these extra official (o) hours. In turn, we will notify the Child care provider of the approved change to regular schedule.

A list of day care centers will be provided. They are state approved, licensed, and insured.
- Is child care only provided while I am in school?
No, child care is provided 8am til 5pm Monday thru Friday while you are a full-time student through out the semester.
- How many children are provided for?
As many as there slots available.
- How much will it cost me?
The Carl Perkins Program will pay 90% and you will pay 10% of the weekly fee during the fall, spring and summer sessions. However, during the semester breaks, the program only covers 50% of the fee and the student is responsible for the other 50% of the fee. Many students choose to accept this arrangement to insure their child(ren) space is reserved at the day care of their choice for the following semester.

However, you must remember to re-apply again two weeks before the beginning of every fall semester.
