Staff Senate has an upcoming event and we really need your help. We need volunteers to work at Sombrero Festival on Thursday, February 28, Friday, February 29, and/or Saturday, March 1, 2008.

We need volunteers to work two-hour shifts. It is real easy work - you will be checking for event bracelets at gate #1 on Madison Street.

Staff Senate is paid a small stipend for working this event. All funds collected go towards Staff Book Allowance Scholarships. Last year, we were able to award 52 deserving staff members with these scholarships.

Please contact Christy Garza (our project chair) at 882-8253 to sign-up to work at this event. Christy can let you know what time slots are still available.
