Since you will be taking part of this course through your computer, we recommend the following hardware, software, and browser plug-ins to help you get the most out of this course and its material.

Adobe Acrobate Reader is software to read some documents in this course which are provided as downloadable files.
A Word Processor that can create a file that can be opened by Microsoft Word or a web site of your own. Your assignments can be turned in either as Word-compatible files or as web sites for which you supply us the URL. Also PowerPoint is useful to have to view files you may download from my webpage.
Plug-ins

Plug-ins are software that are installed in your Netscape or Explorer browser to make it possible for you to see video, hear sound files, see special types of animation, or read and print a PDF. Some plug-ins automatically installs themselves in browser folders while others come with a set of instructions telling you how to do it yourself. All of the plug-ins has a free version which is adequate for the course's files. Below are the URL addresses for each plug in.
