The program will support veteran's participation through:

  Pre/post assessment testing in math, reading, and writing
  Identification of career goals
  Identification of personal and educational barriers
  Identification of academic strengths and academic needs
  Assistance with securing a high school diploma or GED certificate
  Supportive services needed to obtain a high school diploma or GED certificate
  College admissions and course selection
  Financial aid applications
  Academic and career advisement based on assessment needs
  Instructional support necessary for success in a postsecondary program of
    study
  Tutorial support
  Exposure to cultural events, academic programs, and other educational 
    activities
  Activities designed to acquaint veterans participating in the program with the 
    range of career options available to them
