The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College understands the many sacrifices that veterans have endured. This is why the Veterans Upward Bound grant was written. Very seldom do we have an opportunity such as this in the Lower Rio Grande Valley , and it’s time for veterans to take advantage of this program. 

I challenge you to take the initiative and continue your education. The Veterans Upward Bound program will do its part in assisting you in your educational endeavors
