The Educational Talent Search mission is to promote higher education opportunities to low-income, first-generation, college bound students in the Brownsville Independent School District. The ETS program directs services to 600 students, which encourage, support and guide participants towards enrolling into a postsecondary program of study. The program’s primary goal is to help develop in participants an awareness of their individual strengths and the many academic, financial, and career opportunities available to them through higher education.
