Faculty/Staff Mentor Program
About the Program
The objective
of the Faculty/Staff Mentor Program is to
improve retention rates and make students
feel connected to our campus.
Faculty/Staff Mentors will act as a guide to
entering freshman on campus. Over the
course of an academic year, mentors and
mentees will meet in various settings that
include socials, luncheons and campus
events. Mentors and mentees will also
communicate regularly through email.
The program encourages mentors to build a
caring relationship with their mentee so
that they may be able to develop to to their
highest potential. This vision
reflects the program's philosophy that
education is a living and learning
experience where mentors and mentees engage
with and learn from each other.
