Leadership Program Curriculum
The Leadership And Mentorship Program is proud to offer all UTB/TSC Students the opportunity to participate in the following leadership programs.
| UTB/TSC STUDENT LEADER PROGRAM
In an effort to offer more upper level leadership development courses to experienced student leaders on our campus, LAMP has taken the initiative to revamp our leadership program. This year’s leadership program will include 3 certification levels for students to participate in. This will offer adequate leadership training to a novice student leader and an experienced student leader.
Leadership Certification Level Requirements
Bronze Level
- Student must attend 3 leadership workshops within the academic year 2004-2005.
- Students must join a student organization
- Students must participate in one civic engagement events within the academic year.
- Students must complete the Career Choices Assessment Software
- Students must turn in a 250 word essay on “What leadership means to me.”
Silver Level
- Student must attend 6 leadership workshops within the academic year 2004-2005.
- Students must join a student organization
- Students must participate in 2 civic engagement events within the academic year.
- Students must complete the Career Choices Assessment Software
- Students must attend the Learning to Lead Institute Leadership Conference offered in the Spring of 2005 or another leadership conference can be substituted.
- Students must turn in a 250 word essay on “What leadership means to me.”
Gold Level
- Student must attend 8 leadership workshops within the academic year 2004-2005.
- Students must join a student organization
- Students must participate in 3 civic engagement events within the academic year.
- Students must complete the Career Choices Assessment Software
- Student must attend the Learning to Lead Institute Leadership Conference offered in the Spring of 2005 or another leadership conference can be substituted.
- Students must present a 15 minute workshop over a leadership topic assigned to them. The presentation will be given a pass or fail status by a UTB/TSC staff member.
- Students must turn in a 250 word essay on “What leadership means to me.”
