Checking Account at a local bank
Foreign students are allowed to open checking account for students at any major local bank. To open an account, a student needs to present two photo identification forms e.g. Passport, school ID and/or driver’s license from your home country. There is a small monthly fee charged to your account every month, however, in some banks the fee is waived during the summer months. For more information on the services each bank provides, please contact the international section of the bank of your choice. As a UTB/TSC student you may apply for a “STING CARD”.
