The International Student Office assists international students with:
- ACADEMIC ADVISING
Academic advising is based on test scores and selected program of study and/or completed transcript evaluation.
- CAREER EXPLORATION
Workshops, interest inventories and computerized guides are available to assist students with their career decisions.
- PERSONAL COUNSELING
Individual counseling is available for personal concerns and mental health issues.
- IMMIGRATION INFORMATION
Information on a variety of immigration matters and federal regulations.
- HEALTH INSURANCE
Information on health insurance costs, claims and coverage.
- WORKSHOPS
Workshops are conducted on a variety of topics of interest to all foreign students.
- STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
Information regarding employment opportunities available to international students in good standing.
- REFERRALS
Students will be referred to the appropriate office for information regarding academic assistance, student health services, housing, social activities, financial assistance driving permits, banking services.
- TRAVEL
Information on affordable travel for U.S. and foreign students.
- ORIENTATION
Group sessions for incoming international students are offered twice a year prior to beginning of classes.
