MEMBER COMPOSITION

A. The BIT reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs through the Dean of Students.

 

B. The BIT will be chaired by the Dean of Students. The principal members of the team will include:

i.    Chief of University Police or designated representative

ii.   Staff Psychologist, Student Health Services

iii.  Coordinator of Student Judicial Affairs

iv.  Director of Residence Life and Student Housing or designated representative

v.   University Counsel or designated representative from the Vice President for Business       Affairs.

C. An Academic Affairs representative, appointed each year by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, will serve on the team in all situations which involve or affect faculty, and/or academic administration, and/or which involve other academic activity.

 

D. Other university officials who may be asked by the Dean of Students to serve on the team, in specific situations as needed, include but are not limited to

i.    Director of Human Resources or designated representative

ii.   Director of Athletics

iii.  Director of Student Life

iv.  Office of Disability Services

v.   Office of News and Informtaion

vi.  International Students Advisor

vii. Faculty/Staff member
