This is our second year presenting the Counselors’ Institute in partnership with the Rio Grande Valley and Tip-of-Texas Counseling Associations.  Our experience in working with representatives of each of the associations has been outstanding, and we are looking forward to the 14th Annual Counselors’ Institute taking place at the South Padre Island Radisson Resort in late January 2008. 

 

Sessions will follow the theme of the 2008 Institute, “Forces in Counseling:  Unity, Advocacy, and Wellness.”  The numerous sessions will offer participants the opportunity to share professional interests and discuss issues pertinent to the field while renewing acquaintances and making new friends. 

The forthcoming Institute will include an evening dinner with a keynote speaker and a Saturday morning ethics presentation.  These changes will offer more opportunities to learn and exchange ideas. 

 

For those interested, the Institute has secured hotel rooms at a special conference rate for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.

 

The Institute is an excellent opportunity for mental health counselors, school counselors, social workers, clergy, nurses, counselor educators, and others related to the profession to participate in quality professional development. 

At the Institute, attendees will re-energize and take advantage of new insights in order to better serve those they interact with professionally on a daily basis.  We look forward to seeing you at the 14th Annual Counselors’ Institute!
