WHERE: In 2008 the institute will be conducted at the Radisson Resort, South Padre Island, Texas.  Hotel rooms for institute attendees will be available at $85 on Thursday night, January 24, 2008.  The nights of January 23, 25, and 26 institute attendees are eligible for room rates at $65 per night!

WHY: There are numerous counselors in the South Texas Region who want to take advantage of the opportunity for professional growth by participation in a quality conference that has reasonable registration fees and is within easy driving distance.  Increasing numbers of nationally certified and state licensed counselors needing to meet continuing education requirements may do so through attending the institute.  Private practice and agency counselors along with those who work with K-16 students attend the institute to learn more about topics of interest and specialization.  Attendees will have opportunity to earn at least 15 hours of CEU credit through the institute.
