The UTB/TSC Chess Program provides the resources, training, and support to enable students to reach their full potential in the classroom and at the chessboard.  We will be the destination for the top players in the Rio Grande Valley, and we will create a program that is attractive to the top players from Mexico and Latin America.  By sharing our knowledge and experience with area students and coaches, and competing at the highest level, we are taking the leadership role for chess in South Texas and Northern Mexico.
