Student Referral Process

  1. Department Completes “Attachment “C” Student Request" and submits it to Career Services.

  2. Students Completes “Student Application” and submits it to Career Services.
    Note: In the event a department has already pre-screened a student (taking 15 credits/semester and GPA>2.75) please submit a copy of the transcript, and proof of enrollment with the Student Application.

  1. Career Services will refer students to matching employment opportunities (Student will exhibit copy of transcript and proof of enrollment to the potential employer (UTB/TSC Department))

  1. Once the department makes a hiring decision, the department head will generate a Memorandum of Employment (MOE) that includes both accounts that will cover the salaries. This MOE needs to be submitted to Career Services which will then be reviewed, cosigned and processed. Once the MOE is done, the students will need to contact Human Resources and they should be ready to work once they are cleared by Human Resources.
