The Recreational Sport Department within the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Texas at Brownsville is determined on promoting health and wellness within our campus community by providing organized recreational teams and league sport participants through intramural sports and outdoor campus recreation. 

The Intramurals Program believes that leisure physical activity and enjoyment are vital to a person’s total well-being. Based upon this belief, the intramural program provides a broad and diversified program of recreational sport activities for the University’s students, faculty, and staff.
