1. Handling of Cancelled Classes in Colleague: Members discussed problems encountered when there is a delay between a department’s decision to cancel a class and the window during which classes may cancelled in the Colleague system.  Carolyn Green will investigate whether a new status can be created that would indicate that the course is pending cancellation.

2. New Faculty Orientation Plan: Members discussed a draft plan for new faculty orientation.  Campus, community, and policy/procedure orientation activities were discussed.  Members agreed that a new faculty mentoring program would be desirable.  Plans for professional development workshops and reference materials were discussed and revised.  Carolyn Green will revise the plan for further discussion.
