Fieldtrips!

Fieldtrips to Mexico and Central America are an integral part of the courses I teach.  In geology I feel it is much more of a learning experience to see a formation in a natural setting than to only hear it described in the classroom.
At periodic intervals during the academic year I organize fieldtrips into nearby areas of northern Mexico.  These trips concentrate numerous vistas illustrating the cultural and physical geographies, microclimates, and geology of the Sierra Madre Oriental during four to five day outings.  Click on the links below to see information and vivid photographs from past trips.
