The public is invited to a forum at UTB/TSC to discuss the process of using the $68 million bonds approved by voters last fall.
The forum will be held on Thursday, February 3 at 6 p.m. in the El Gran Salon of the Student Union.
“Our enrollment has reached 12,000, and it is critical that we meet the needs associated with that rapid growth in a careful, thoughtful manner,” said UTB/TSC President Dr. Juliet V. Garcia. “Keeping the community abreast of our progress and receiving their input is of utmost importance to us as we endeavor to meet the challenges that accompany the population growth of our community.”
During the general election last November, voters approved a $68 million bond package, which will pay for new classrooms and parking, an expanded library, a center for early childhood studies and a center for research into Alzheimer’s, diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
