Summer Guitar Camp (ages7-12) -
Students interested in playing the guitar (beginner or intermediate
levels) may participate in this camp. Students will take group
classes and play songs based on their level of playing. Students
will learn about music composers, play note reading/rhythm games and
have the opportunity to enjoy music in a social setting with other
kids. Students must bring their own guitar or rent one from our
office (rental fees apply). Students will be asked to play for the
teachers at the beginning of the camp to be placed in the
appropriate level. A recital performance will be presented on the
last day for parents. Early registration deadline is July 3, 2009
Registration deadline is July 10, 2009.

Summer Piano Camp (ages 7-12) -
The Piano Camp is designed to give
beginning or intermediate level pianist a change to explore or
further explore piano opportunities. Students will be asked to play
for the teacher to be placed in the correct level. No experience
needed. Some activities will combine students from both levels.
Students will learn pieces to play as a group, plus music games,
learn about composers and participate in a visual arts project. A
recital performance will be presented on the last day for parents.
Early Registration deadline is July 3, 2009. Registration
deadline is July 10, 2009.

| Jammin' Jungle Camp (ages 5-10) - Students will join the animals of the jungle in making and creating music. Various percussive instruments will be used to create and easy and fun rhythm ensemble. Selected craft projects will contribute to the safari or instruments and make a memorable music-making experience. These musical instruments will be used to bring a story book to life. Students will learn rhythm concepts and be challenged by music theory games and activities. A recital performance will be presented on the last day for parents. Early registration deadline is June 26, 2009. Registration deadline is July 3, 2009. | |
