  • TExES Faculty Manual—contains information about the testing program, its basis in Texas law and alignment with Texas standards, the structure of the tests, and the uses of the test frameworks and reports prepared for examinees and Texas educator preparation programs.

  • Appendix A:  Worksheets—provides a Student Profile Worksheet for faculty to assess student preparation and a Competency-to-Course Matching Chart.

  • Appendix B:  Informational Handouts—offers preparation materials for students, including Frequently Asked Questions, Developing a Study Plan, and Test-Taking Strategies.

  • Appendix C:  Overview of TExES Tests—comprises detailed summaries of the test design and related information for each TExES test, including the complete test framework. (Physical Education EC–12)
