Sample Detailed History Lesson Plan

The lessons are examples of the type of detail required for your lessons during and observation by the instructor and when you turn in lessons as an assignment.

No claim is made as to the quality of the lesson design.  In fact, these represent a more traditional approach.  You should put the same type of detail when writing a lesson plan using a format, such as the Hunter or Gagne formats.

The source for the lessons is the following:  Callahan, J., & Clark, L.  (1982).  Teaching in the middle and secondary schools:   Planning for competence (2nd edition).  New York:  Macmillan Publishing Company.  (note:  the APA style reference.)
