The mission of the government program is to develop critical thinking, oral and written communication skills, research analysis, and computer literacy so that students may demonstrate knowledge of American Government, contemporary world affairs, and cultural diversity.  By so doing, we hope to enrich the lives of our students and to help them reach their maximum human potential.  We pursue these goals through instruction, research, and service.
