Above is a Robert Runyon photograph of the Fort Brown Post
Hospital before WWI. This building and others surrounding
it are now part of the historic University of Texas
Brownsville/Texas Southmost College historic campus. The
background is the former entrance to Fort Brown.
This Web site is designed to give a look at some of
these truly historic buildings. Many of these photographs
were taken from our library
archives and were contributed by people throughout the years.
You are just a few clicks away from seeing two wonderful
places--Brownsville and the University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost
College. We hope you enjoy the
postcard images and other photos that follow. These images
were generously shared with the Arnulfo L. Oliveira archives for
people like you!
Thanks for visiting.
