GUITAR PROGRAM
 

Two O'clock Guitar Ensemble
 



Three O'clock Guitar Ensemble

The Guitar program is led by Dr. Michael Quantz and offers many performing opportunities including several Guitar Ensembles and Guitar Festivals.  Students perform music arranged for guitar “orchestra”.    Music majors are required to participate in 2 ensembles.  Outstanding awards have been received by guitar students at the Corpus Christi Young Artists Competition, and at the Texas Solo Guitar Competition in Dallas.

Degrees: 
     Minor in Music - requires 27 semester hours in music
    Bachelor of Music - Music Education - Instrumental Degree Plan
    Bachelor of Music - Instrumental Degree Plan - Performance Track
    Master of Music in Music Education (MMME)
