Directed by Dr. Michael Quantz, these ensembles are comprised mainly of guitar majors and minors. The 2 O'Clock Ensemble is an audition-only ensemble for high-level guitar playing and tours around Texas. The 3 O'Clock Ensemble allows students many opportunities of guitar playing at various levels. These ensembles are designed to teach students about the importance of playing in an ensemble rather than playing as soloists. An array of guitar literature is greatly emphasized.
