Ms. Karon Jahn enjoys
teaching a variety of undergraduate communication courses including
public speaking, environmental communication, and public relations.
Her twenty years of teaching in Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, P.R.
China, and Texas has offered many opportunities to discover ways to
motivate and mentor ethnically diverse students interested in the
field of communication.
A graduate of the
University of Houston, Ms. Jahn has also served in university
administrative positions as the Dean of Students at Chaminade
University of Honolulu, and Assistant Vice-President of Academic
Affairs at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage.
Her non-teaching
time is spent training for long distance hikes, listening to blues
music, and writing.
