John
A. Cook is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for the
Communication Program at UTB. Dr. Cook holds a Ph.D. in
Organizational and Interpersonal Communication Education. He spent
the last 20 years in business and government in applied
communication careers, such as Training Management Corporate Sales
Fund raising
Corporate consulting:
assessment, training, Organizational Development, labor relations,
change management and implementation of wellness programs.
Dr. Cook’s role in
consulting led to the completion of his book The Perils of
Empowerment (AuthorHouse.com) Dr. Cook also co-authored a book
on persuasion with Dr. Bill Strong
