Golfers conclude
fall competition The UTB/TSC Men’s Golf Team concluded its fall season with a seventh-place finish at the Tyler Junior College Invitational Golf Tournament Oct. 24-25. The Scorpions accumulated a 615 score on the par-72, 6,813-yard course at the Oak Hurst Country Club in Bullard. Finishing 35 shots behind the event winner, the Tyler Junior College black team, UTB/TSC was led by freshman Chris Milligan, who shot a 149 for the two-day event. Other team scorers were Agapito Ortega Jr., 152; Anthony Lopez, 156; Jones Mitchell, 158; and Jerry Borgogni, 163. Victor Calzada shot a 171 competing as a single player. The Scorpions will now prepare for competition in spring tournaments of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
