Michelle earned her Bachelor degree in Art and minor in Communication from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. She is now pursuing a Master's in Counseling and Guidance from UTB/TSC. Michelle currently serves as an officer in the Counseling and Guidance student Association on campus and is a member of Texas Counseling Association, and the National Academic Advising Association.
Michelle served as an Academic Advisor at Brigham Young University-Hawaii for five years, and then became an Academic Advisor in 2004 at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. She currently works with undergraduate students within the College of Liberal Arts. Michelle has worked on several outreach programs and with a variety of student populations such as At-Risks students, and Non-Traditional students.
