WEDNESDAY JAN. 24, 2008 - Communication major, Elizabeth Perez was recently one among a group of students selected for the New York Times Student Journalism Institute.

 

The Institute, which collaborates with the Black College Communications Association and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, provides students with the experience of working in the journalism field.

 

Students have their expenses paid and are able to perform duties such as editing, photography, designing and reporting on live events.
