The Communication Council will host the First Annual Bowling Tournament at the Galaxy Bowling Center at 3451 Pablo Kisel Blvd. The event will take place Saturday, July 21, from 9 am to 1 pm. The sign up fee is $100 for teams of five. The top three teams will receive cash prizes.
The event is sponsored by PUB, The Brownsville Herald, Bargain Book, and Advantage Car Rental.
The Council plans to use funds raised at the event to organize various community projects such as the Communication Expo, which aims at informing undecided students and high school seniors about the Communication program and what it has to offer.
