College Reading III (READ 0322)
This course is an advanced college reading course emphasizing the instruction and application of study skills and critical reading across various disciplines. Th is exit-level course is designed to prepare students for reading intensive college level courses. Lec 3, Cr 3. Prerequisite: THEA 220-229, ASSET/A-THEA 38-40, Accuplacer 68-77, Compass 71-80 or READ 0321 with “C” or better.

Earn College Credit while taking College Reading III (READ 0322).
Students qualified to enroll in READ 0322 in Fall 2009 will have the unique opportunity of being allowed to take GOVT 2301 or HIST 1302 course for college credit at the same time.
The goal of the College Reading Program is to enhance student success in their college level courses. The READ 0322 course has been redesigned so as to use the GOVT 2301 or HIST 1302 reading material, assignments, and tests in the reading course in order to help students learn both the strategic learning objectives of the reading course and the content of the Government or History course.
Students who qualified received a score within the following ranges using the corresponding placement tests:
- Compass 71-80
- THEA 220-229
- ASSET 38-40
- Accuplacer 68-77
- READ 0321 with "C" or better
