Welcome to the
 School of Business

 at the University of Texas at  Brownsville and Texas Southmost  College! We offer graduate  studies in business, primarily to  serve the needs of working  professionals. In addition to
 on-campus programs, the School  creates distance instruction and  provides access to distance  education programs of the  University of Texas System.

 Our faculty pursues continuous  improvement in teaching and  learning, engages in scholarship  in their respective disciplines and  provides many hours of service
 to the University and their  professions.

 The mission of the UTB/TSC School of Business  is to prepare students in the bicultural Lower  Rio Grande Valley of Texas for their careers by  offering associate, bachelor, and  master  degree business programs. As part of
 a community university focused on student  learning, the School of Business

•emphasizes teaching, enriched by scholarship and service, to help students develop analytical, problem solving, and information technology skills;
•supports the development of the communication skills of our predominantly bilingual students;
