The Short Story
My story started many years ago in Windsor, Ontario, Canada where
I
was born. I grew up in Chatham, Ontario and graduated from
Tecumseh Secondary School. After obtaining my degrees, I went on
to do a year of post-doctoral work at York
University working on the kinetic modelling of diesel fuel
combustion in the Department of Chemistry with Prof. H.O.
Pritchard. After a year, I received a
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Fellowship to work at the Defence Research Establishment Atlantic
branch of the Department of National
Defence
on the modelling of polymers. During this time I was a sessional
lecturer
at St. Mary's University. Deciding
that
a change of scenery (and weather!) would be nice and wanting to teach
more
often, I accepted the position here at UTB.

Ok, ok, I admit it. I have a tremendous passion for the bodyslams and
powerbombs of professional wrestling. In addition to wrestling as
a hobby, I also
enjoy lifting weights. I've been told by some I look like Stone
Cold
Steve Austin when my hair is shaved! Some of my favorite
wrestling and
other links are below.
