After completing his B.S. he worked as full time professor in the Institute Technologic at Matamoros, Mexico. Taught course in areas of mathematics, operations research, and computation. In 1989 he worked as trainer in Electromechanical Products Breed Automotive Corporation, and in 1990 as supervisor of production in AT&T Microelectronic at Matamoros. At UTB he taught courses on advanced analytical mathematics, engineering economy, engineering analysis, introduction to computers for technologists, engineering mechanics II, physics II, probability and statistics, basic mathematics, precalculus, calculus I, calculus II, introductory algebra, intermediate algebra, college algebra, math for liberal arts, statistics for psychology and sociology, and elementary statistics. He currently teaches courses on computer graphics and digital imaging (using maya), operating systems management (unix/linux), systems analysis and design, and advanced computer networking (tcp/ip). His areas of interest are networks optimization, analysis of algorithms, combinatorial optimization, simulation, neural networks, and genetic algorithms. |
