4 Scorpions, Young Named To NAIA All-Region Team

LUBBOCK -- Scorpion freshman Talita Milasauskas was named NAIA Volleyball Region VI Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in an awards presentation here Friday, November 16.

Milasauskas, the region's leader in blocks, also was named to the All-Region First Team.

Teammate junior Daianarah Bracero was named Newcomer of the Year and Coach Marcus was named Coach of the Year. Bracero and junior Claudia Alarcon were also named to the All-Region First Team.

Junior Katie Japp was named to the All-Region Second Team for the second year in a row.

Milasauskas, Bracero, Alarcon and Japp were named to the Red River Athletic Conference First Team and senior Jenny Ashley was named to the RRAC Second Team.
