Scorpions Visit Our
Lady of the Lake, Huston-Tillotson

SAN ANTONIO -- The 22nd-ranked UTB/TSC women's volleyball team hopes to
add two victories into its win column on a two-day visit to San Antonio
and Austin Friday and Saturday, September 29 and 30.
UTB/TSC takes on NAIA newcomer Our Lady of the Lake University (1-6), a team the Scorpions have already defeated this season, in San Antonio at 6 p.m. Friday. The Scorpions then head up Interstate 35 for a match against Huston-Tillotson University (0-16) in Austin at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Scorpions are 14-5 and moved up two positions to No. 22 in the newest NAIA national women's volleyball released September 28.
In a match played at the Garza Gymnasium September 4, the Scorpions stopped OLL in three games, 30-13, 30-16, 30-11.
Talita Milasauskas continues to lead the Scorpions in three statistical categories. She leads the Scorpions with an average of 3.8 kills per game, and her 0.8 average in aces per game and 1.6 average in blocks per game also lead the Red River Athletic Conference.
Claudia Alarcon leads the team in digs with a 2.6 average and Daianarah Bracero leads the team and the RRAC in assists, averaging 11.5 per game.
After the weekend matches, the Scorpions return home to face Texas A&M University-Kingsville at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, at the Manuel Garza B. Gymnasium.
