Scorpions Host CSW for First Home Match in 2 Weeks

The nationally ranked UTB/TSC Scorpions women’s volleyball team plays its first home Red River Athletic Conference match of the season against College of the Southwest at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, in the Manuel B. Garza Gym.

It's the first time the Scorpions have been home since September 4. In their only other conference match so far, the Scorpions defeated Southwestern Assemblies of God University, 3-0.

 

Overall, the Scorpions are 12-4 while CSW is 3-2.

 

The Scorpions, ranked 25th in the nation, are coming off an impressive weekend in Nebraska, at the Hastings College/Quality Inn Tournament. They went 3-1, and their only loss was against 24th-ranked Northwestern College.

 

Scorpion middle blocker Talita Milasauskas and setter Daianarah Bracero were named to the All-Tournament team.

  

After Tuesday's match, the Scorpions visit Houston for matches Friday and Saturday, September 21-22 against the University of St. Thomas and Houston Baptist University, respectively.
