Player of the Week Honors

Middle blocker Talita Milasauskas and setter Dainarah Bracero have been
named Red River Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week for
the week of August 27-September 2, the first weekly selection for the
2007 season.
The Scorpions defeated three out of four NCAA Division II opponents last week. Previously, they defeated two regional rivals in the South Padre Invitational August 24-25.
Milasauskas, a freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil, had 63 kills and 28 digs in the four matches last week, averaging 4.20 kills per game. Her weekly high was 20 kills and nine digs against Midwestern State University.
Bracero, a junior from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, had 176 assists in the four matches, averaging 11.7 per game. She also had 16 kills and 10 digs during the week.
Milasauskas leads the conference in kills and aces and Bracero leads the RRAC in assists.
