Junior libero Joanna Knight has been named the Red River Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week for the dates of Sept. 25-Oct. 1.

Jessica Barrera of Houston Baptist University (Texas) was named Player of the Week, while HBU’s Natalie Magat was picked as the Setter of the Week.

Knight, a third-year player from Denton, Texas, led the Scorpions to three wins in three matches last week with an average of 7.3 digs per game. In all, she registered 88 digs including 41 in a tight 3-2 win over College of the Southwest (N.M.) and 25 against Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Knight also contributed six aces.

The Scorpions are now 3-0 in the RRAC and 9-9 overall.
