Resigns as Scorpion Women's Head Volleyball CoachNicholson has accepted the position of head women's volleyball coach at Newberry College in Newberry, S.C.
"This is an unfortunate, but short-term setback for our program," Scorpion Director of Athletics Dan Huntley said. "I am committed to bring in a coach quickly that will connect with our program, our university and our community. While we are all celebrating the current success our baseball team is having this week, my focus must turn immediately to replacing Dave and providing our current players and recruits the attention and commitment they deserve from a coach. I expect to have a coach in place within the next few weeks."
