Scorpions forward Lena Candia and midfielder Vanessa Gallegos have been named to the NAIA Region VI All-Region Team and were also selected as Honorable Mention selections to the NAIA All-America Team.

Candia, a junior from Malmo, Sweden, was previously honored as Red River Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and selected to the First Team.

Gallegos, a freshman from Cheyenne, Wyoming, was also selected to the RRAC All-Conference First Team.

Defenders Aliesha Cassie, a freshman from Banff, Scotland, and Cristin Resing, a freshman from Vreden, Germany, were named to the All-Region Second Team.

Without any seniors, the Scorpions finished the season with a 13-7 record, including a third-place finish during the RRAC regular season and the RRAC Tournament Championship. The Scorpions lost in the Region VI quarterfinals November 3.
