Scorpions Host Monterrey Tec to Start Final Homestand

The UTB/TSC women's soccer team hosts Monterrey Tec at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 13, at Morningside Park in its final non-conference game before ending the season with two conference home games.

The Scorpions are 8-6 with two Red River Athletic Conference games remaining on the schedule after Saturday -- both at Morningside Park.

UTB/TSC is 3-2 in Red River Athletic Conference play and sits in fourth place. Northwood University leads the league with a 4-0 record.

Scorpion forward Lena Candia leads the team in goals scored with 15 and Vanessa Gallegos leads in assists.

UTB/TSC will be at home to end the regular season October 19-20 with RRAC games against Texas College and Southwestern Assemblies of God, respectively.
