Scorpions Host Monterrey Tec Saturday at
Morningside Park

The UTB/TSC men's soccer team hosts Monterrey
Tec at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 13, at Morningside Park to start a stretch of
four home games in eight days to close out the regular season.
The Scorpions are 9-3-1 with three games remaining on the schedule after Saturday's match against the Borregos.
More importantly, UTB/TSC is 5-0 in Red River Athletic Conference play and leads Northwood University with one conference loss and three other teams with one loss and one tie.
Fernando Mendoza leads the Scorpions in goals with eight, Antonio Vernaschi leads in assists with five, and Mark McCormick leads in shots attempted per game with 1.62. McCormick scored the winning goal in a 1-0 overtime loss over St. Thomas University Sunday, October 7 in Houston.
After Saturday's game, the Scorpions have three regular season games remaining, all at Morningside Park. UTB/TSC hosts St. Thomas University of Houston Monday, October 15, Texas College Friday, October 19, and Southwestern Assemblies of God Saturday, October 20.
