"I love soccer. For me, this is an honor for me to be here working as an assistant coach with Coach Balaguero. It's a great opportunity for me to be part of an important soccer team that will make a lot of history. I wanted to be part of that. I know a lot of players who will play for the Scorpions.

I was assistant coach for a Valley all-star team that played the minor league franchise of the Rayados from Monterrey in 2005 in San Benito. I was an assistant coach for all-star team. North-South in 2005.

I have a lot of contacts with soccer in Mexico, and that will help Coach Balaguero.

When you are an assistant coach, I hope to provide. I know most of the players in the Valley and that's a big positive for the team. We have the best of the best in the Valley for this Scorpion team and the best from outside the United States. We will have a lot of experienced teams. We should have a good solid team here with a lot of diversity and that's a big challenge.

I will help the players focus on the classes, so they can graduate. I can talk to them in Spanish and their parents to make sure they understand what they need to do.
